STC爐全名Short Time Cycle，日本大同公司生產的STC爐全世界佔有率達95%，海華鋼鐵公司自成立起的目標市場是定位在高端扣件及手工具業製造商，因此成功擺脫一般中低階產品的惡性競爭，為追求更進一步成長，於2017年投資新台幣一億二千萬元於最新/最大型STC球化爐一套，已打入最高端汽車零件製造及手工具所需的線材上；且計畫於2023年再購買一套最新型的日本大同STC球化爐，運用於電動車零件製造所需的線材上。

STC (Short Time Cycle) furnace, made by Daido Steel in Japan, has 95% of the global market share. Hai Hwa Steel Works specializes in the material for high end fasteners and tooling markets since its founding. In 2017 we invested US$3.2 million in the most advanced STC furnace from Daido Steel; currently serving the top auto parts makers in the world. Additionally, Hai Hwa Steel Works is planning to purchase a second set of STC furnace from Daido Steel in 2023, specifically for the processing of wire rods for electric vehicle parts.

Hai Hwa Steel Works 1st Plant currently operates 16 Pit Type Annealing Furnaces of varying sizes. These Pit Type Annealing Furnaces are controlled via a control room with computerized controllers for temperature and protective atmospheric gas. With the Pit Type Annealing Furnaces we are able to consistently attain the necessary wire rod hardness to meet the needs of our customers.
